Picking an All-Conference Team

So as I’m watching the slate of games yesterday, and watched Govan, and Martin and Rowsey and Carrington and Bridges all light it up, it dawned on me that these coaches were going to have to figure out only 6 players for an all league team. Are you kidding me?

So you gotta think Delgado, Blueitt and Brunson are locks, right?

I challenge anyone to pick 3 out of the following for 1st team and then another 2nd team.

MVP? Prob Brunson or Blueitt; maybe Angel even gets a couple of votes.
Rookie of the Yr? Spellman or Marshall? Thinking prob Spellman there.
DPOY? Bridges or Thomas? Hard to argue with either. Maybe Owens gets some votes.?

Brunson to me is POY.

I'd go with Spellman as ROY, and Bridges as DPOY.
Bridges' block at end of regulation at Creighton to me was the defensive play of the year.

Imagine, our conference is so deep that Ponds and Govan are on the 2nd team.

Georgetown is gonna be great next year, especially with the freshman PG McClung arriving.

Don't forget Thomas. He is a projected 1st round pick and yet will probably be on the 2nd team All-BE. That is a deep pool of talent!

They don't even deserve to be on the list.
