Win vs Providence- 16-16 75 RPI 5 SOS
Loss vs Providence- 15-17 87 RPI 5 SOS

I think it's pretty darn close to a must win for St John's to make the NIT.

Why so pessimistic? St John’s beats Georgetown, then beats X in the Garden! :D :D

yeah, especially considering a loss by X there costs them almost certainly a #1 seed in the NCAA tourney.

Haha, fair enough guys. I actually did laugh at the meme. Can't really blame me for expecting an L with no LoVett or Ponds against an almost 20 win Butler team. Glad the fans came out, I'm sure it helped. Need one more for NIT IMO.

Honestly, I thought St. John's was a potential NIT caliber team coming into the season. 11 game losing streak wasn't expected, but neither was Duke and @Nova back to back shockers... considering what's happened with Lovett, I'd say things normalized in the end. Now if Mullin can keep this team together and motivated, I'd absolutely think the Johnnies have a great shot at an at-large bid next season.
