Looks like the Hall will be down 2 seniors on senior night. Desi Rodriguez and Ish Sanogo both doubtful at this point. Bummer if that holds true.

What an exciting night of hoops all scross the Big East. You can feel everyone playing harder in hopes to earn a trip to the madness. All these tight games are so fun to watch.

SHU game just slipped away. Almost pulled the upset

I'll go see the Johnies nrxt week at the BET. They deserve some love. They are playing hard despite the record. What a gutsy win against Butler

Without Ponds they went 4 deep, and still win in 2OTs, lots of respect to them.

NJRedman thank you for my favorite post of the year!! Great win for the Johnnies without Ponds. Glad we’re likely avoiding the 10 seed in the BET.

I feel like Saturday's game is now huge for St John's to try to make the NIT. looking at it, assuming they are in the 8/9 game vs Georgetown, and Xavier is 1 seed..... And in BET beating Georgetown, losing to Xavier

Win vs Providence- 16-16 75 RPI 5 SOS
Loss vs Providence- 15-17 87 RPI 5 SOS

I think it's pretty darn close to a must win for St John's to make the NIT.

This what can happen when someone speaks too soon.

An enjoyable win for the Johnnies tonight. Gutsy.

I have to give a lot of credit to Providence. Xavier set the tone for almost the whole game, but those Friars always fought back when the game was about to be blown open. Xavier got the margin up to 12 multiple times, but I don't believe they ever got it past that.

But Jesus, that officiating was awful. Multiple players fouled out or got into foul trouble off of some questionable calls. Also, that double technical was one of the fastest whistled double techs I've ever seen for just talking.

Gritty Game by St John's, they were tougher and made their Ft's to win that one. Tip of the hat.

Yep - good job by the Johnnies. Butler was too busy reading their press clippings after the Providence and Creighton wins and the team that played harder won last night. Will be interesting to see how Butler reacts on Saturday, but another Senior night with the Hall sending off a group of 4 guys that aren't going to want to lose their last home game. Don't anticipate a victory in that game.
