2 pretty darn close to must win games for Marquette and Providence.

Creighton with a chance to get locked up just about I think.

Villanovites: If you're in Omaha, I can't speak unequivocably, but most indigenous Omahans are a friendly lot (grass skirt wearing, hulahoop dancing, easy lei's). You should be safe wearing your gear and probably get much free beer as a result.
Have a great time with the Creighton minions.

The first year of the new conference I had the pleasure of hanging with a bunch of Jays fans at the BET. Salt of the earth people. Down to earth, humble, complimentary. And this all a few weeks after waxing us twice...no boasting or talking trash. Just good people. That was the day that CU became one of the programs I root openly for during non-Nova BE games (along with PC, b/c I like Cooley & The Gang). Now when PC and CU play each other I root for a tie or whomever is furthest from us in the standings. One of these years I’d like to come see a game at the C-Link.

is it my imagination or are more games being played at same time as the season winds down?

No I don't think it's really the case all that much. this has been pretty much the normal schedule after year 1.

For the tournament credit's sake I hope the bubble teams win, but the bottom 3 teams are all playing better lately and are at home today. Not surprised to see 3 close games so far.

Pleasantly surprised by the Hall today. Playing on the road against a much better than their record SJU, team on 1 day rest after the suspended PC game, without Desi Rodriguez, and with a major distraction that popped up yesterday...I was prepared for a not very competitive loss. Then within the game, if you told me Myles Powell shot 1-11 from three, I'd have guessed the Hall got blown out. They showed good fight to get a big win.

Providence is so well coached. They made all the right decisions in the closing minutes. Typical was Alpha Diallo passing up an open 3 with a 1 point lead inside a minute to go. Instead he went for the layup and/or foul. He got both. Little things like that make the difference between wins & losses in close games.

Great game at the Garden. Happy for the Hall. Sad for the Johnies. I really hope that Johnies get a lot better next year.
