I know nothing more than anyone else, but if an assistant took money to try and steer a current athlete to an agency, it’s not the end of the world. Gets trickier if there’s more to it. The fact that it sounds like it isn’t considered as serious as what the other assistants did to get charged is the only bright spot.

The allegations mentioned appear to be that the two new coaches( one an assistant from Creighton) were offered or paid (unclear at this point) $6000 to steer current players to Dawkin's agency when the players were ready to turn pro. Nothing about recruiting violations. Allegations are just that---allegations. Since no charges are being filed against the two coaches, either no crime was committed, they couldn't prove the crime in court or it wasn't a big deal to the prosecutors. In any case, not a good look to keep getting mentioned in this. This happened in July 2017, which was long after Bowen signed with Louisville.

Connecting the dots, sounds like Dawkins allegedly gave Murphy 6k to steer Justin Patton. Doesnt soundike its a crime since he wont be charged but definitely a fireable offense if true.

And they are reporting they have recording of Wade.....Exact quotes....Sounds like it was leaked.....

If both Wade and Miller have both been subpoenaed.....Both are probably on tape.....

While not in legal jeopardy, both assistants could see NCAA penalties as well as the schools. Accepting outside money, lack of institutional control, etc.

One rogue assistant taking cash cannot be considered lack of institutional control. If I had to bet though, they won't be at their schools much longer. Dumb, dumb decisions.

In any case, not a good look to keep getting mentioned in this.

This is the thing. Even if nothing comes of this, getting your name in the mix multiple times is definitely not a good look.
