For the Big East Conference as a whole concerning NCAA bids, this is turning into a nightmare of a day. Marquette was a last four in and lost to last place St Johns, Providence is squarely on the bubble and getting destroyed by 2-9 Depaul at HOME. And Seton Hall does not want a loss to Georgetown. This is not looking good.

Refs always suck. You got your bad calls, we got ours. There were a bunch of questionable call throughout the game. Sure, the last one stands out the most. But in a game decided by one point, all the calls throughout the game played a part. If its not you, its X complaining about the questionable three point foul. You want this not to potentially happen at the end of the game, be winning by more points. Then no matter what happens, refs cant do this to you. But you didn't. You lost. Cry me a river. See you at MSG.

Big win for my Johnnies. We are finally showing the talent we knew we had all season. ESPN is obsessed with Trae Young but the truth is Ponds has been better lately. There's still 5 games left...if we can somehow go 4-1 or 5-0 we have an outside chance at being one of the last teams in the tourney. We can still definitely make the NIT. If we finish the rest of the year strong (3-2 or better) then I may just eat my words about Mullin.

In other news, Creighton got robbed by that call. Hands straight up, X player initiated contact. These fouls have become too automatic. What a brutal call in a brutal spot. Feel bad for Jays fans. Also, what happened to Seton Hall? They were supposed to be competing against Nova up top in conference. Maybe Willard isn't that good. Their team is stacked.

After reading this thread I'm looking on the bright side: this opens the door for X to become the first 1 seed to lose in the round of 64.

Zip em up!

Maybe if they fire Willard now they'll have a chance to salvage the season. What a pathetic waste of talent.

Hey CU fans would you rather be screwed all game and not have the call at the end or have what you did today? Butler has 2 stars and the rest get nothing or worse... Almost like the BE has decided to go with good O over good D and the offensive stars get the MJ treatment... Live and die by it, but the calls go to the stars of the league.

GT, DePaul, and St John's are done playing doormat and want to be spoilers! Going to be a very interesting end to the season!

Play better than the other teams best players or get ready for the screw job? I think we really only have a few bad refs that need to go, but they are making a conscious effort to protect the starts of the league...

Under the revised block/charge call in men's basketball, a defensive player is not permitted to move into the path of an offensive player once he has started his upward motion with the ball to attempt a field goal or pass. If the defensive player is not in legal guarding position by this time, it is a blocking foul.Oct 30, 2013

Clearly a foul, altho thought it was on Harrell. Which would have been Karma after he flopped.
