You know, if the season continues to go like it has, we could see the unthinkable, Xavier, and UC both as 1 seeds. Can you imagine the "Crosstown Shootout" in the Final Four? How about an X/UC final? It would be the greatest win ever for the winner, and a soul crushing defeat for the loser.

Xavier once lead 28-11. Excellent comeback by Butler to lead by 6.

Zero chance IMO for UC to become a 1. Just not enough great win opportunities in the AAC. Wich St lost a lot of luster and who else moves the needle? Whoever is deemed the top dog in the BE (Nova or X) Purdue or MSU from B1G, UVA and/or Duke, and the winner of the B12 are the 4 top seeds IMO. Even undefeated in the AAC, UC is a 3-4 seed. That’s just not a very good league this year.

X is the luckiest team ever. Fowler and Wideman blow point blank looks.

They could have as many as six losses in conference by now.

I don't know what the deal is with Brunk, but that was a miss by Jordan I think. You either don't play him or give him spot min thruout game. can't bring him in cold off the bench in key moment like that. He gives up position on missed FT, Omara tips it out and bluiett extends lead to 4. and brunk doesn't see the floor again. don't know what that was all about.

Bad matchup for Butler. Xavier's the better team, and clearly came in focused tonight. Eh, back to the bubble we go after Saturday.

Bluiett made the clutch shots with a hand in his face... We sold out the inside to keep him and Mucura in check, but he got his anyway and that was the difference... Don't like it at all, but they are a tough team and they were tougher than us tonight...

Hahahaha...there's nothing lucky about going on the road and winning at Butler.
