My optimism has been way off this season, but this has to be a very winnable game for Georgetown today, just like it is for St. Johns. Maybe one day soon these teams can be having this game while being at the top of the conference. The worst part is waiting for improvement; patience is tough.

Anyways, good line up of games today.

Their shots were not falling at the start, but their effort on both ends seems to always stay consistently high. UCONN must be a brutal rebounding team, or NOVA is just that good on the boards?

Watching this SJU-Georgetown game, you can really see why SJU struggles. Their defense can keep games close, but they just do not have the offensive efficiency to score reliably at the end of a close game. They might win here, but that offensive possession to make it a one-point game was awful and it's crazy it ended in a bucket.

Edit: Just to clarify, I hope they win. SJU needs a win, and that drive by Ponds was awesome.

Rooting for St. John's. I'm worried about the Jays heading up to New York this week. I would hate to be the first win for the Johnnies.

I wouldn't lose any sleep worrying about that.

I feel like Seton Hall fans can agree with this: These refs aren't that good. Either that or they have been caught in a flurry of make-up calls to try to balance the game. So, again, not that good.
