Marquette Picks up a new player eligible immediately

I mean he's injured but he could play if he really wanted to!

Joey Hauser will graduate from High school and join the Marquette basketball team effective immediately. This was done so we could ensure his rehab is going smoothly, he gets more weight training time and gets a head start on classes. Not to mention gets to travel and participate when he's healed.

This is great news for the program. Joey gets to now practice, train and be around the team all Spring, Summer and Fall before next season. He is currently rehabbing an injury, but he gets to be seen by the medical staff up close now for a full recovery. The only possible drawback of using his redshirt this semester/year is that - if he gets a serious injury - he will unlikely to be given another redshirt year. That's a necessary risk, however, as the staff has to move forward under the assumption he will be healthy during his tenure.

Joey is a 3 year player, max. Happy to have him on campus though.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
