Games tonight are crucial for who is going to stay in the running to make the tourney. Nothing that anyone can't overcome if they trip up, but Butler will be in a deep hole with loss. DePaul winning would really muck up the middle and bottom of the league... ;) Home teams for the win tonight! ;)

Both teams had extremely close games against X and have beaten the two other teams that are supposedly on top of the BE. Maybe not as middling as everybody thinks. Maybe those games were flukes, just seems that with the current games played its hard to call them middling unless you’re referring to expectations from the start of season.

I didn't say middling I said middle tier. there are 4 teams (ranked) that deserve to be 1-4 based on what they have accomplished both OOC and in conf play so far. after that I would throw in MU, PC, BU.

I have a feeling this will not be a very good crowd actually. The 6:30 start time is odd, and the winter storm we're having today will definitely affect people. All the schools are shut down and it's icy and snowing heavy. I actually think it's not that bad but guarantee people will be staying home due to the cancellations and fear thanks to over-exaggerated news.

Hahaha I live in Nebraska and we had the same thing a few days ago. WINTER STORM WARNING SCHOOL CLOSED EVERYBODY PANIC!!! Ended up being less than an inch of snow and the roads were basically fine. My morning commute was traffic-free which was nice.

Hauser is really good, but from the interview with Assistant Coach Meyer after the game, it appears that Butler's strategy was that they were going all in on slowing down Howard and Rowsey, and if Hauser beat them, they were willing to live with that.

Thought the crowd was pretty good considering the weather, and it wasn't one of those chicken little weather events that turns out to be nothing.

Interesting watching all the strategy, but man does Cooley ever stop? His mouth is non-stop energy!

NO ONE turns a double-digit 2nd half lead into a loss like we can.

FML.

The impact was varied by location. A little north of Indy there was a lot of ice. A neighbor of mine died in front of my house today because he got t-boned by a semi that couldn’t stop. About an hour north of Hinkle.
