(2) Big East Games on Friday 1/12/18

Marquette at Butler (-4.5), 6:30PM
TV: FS1-Steve Physioc & Nick Bahe

Providence (-1.5) at DePaul, 8:45PM
TV: FS1-Joe Davis & Len Elmore

During the Providence at DePaul men’s basketball game Friday, head coaches wear live microphones, giving viewers the chance to hear directly from the sidelines, huddles and locker rooms from tip-off through the final whistle and everything in between. Both matchups are presented commercial-free, allowing FOX Sports cameras and microphones to capture moments not normally available to a television audience.

Game has to be on delay like live radio, that or they found the only two coaches who don’t curse during games

PC hasn't won at DePaul since 2015.

- Last year DePaul overcame an 8 point deficit with 2 minutes left, when Billy Garrett Jr drove length of court for a 3 point play and a 1 point win (we missed a layup at the buzzer).
- Two years ago Bentil got stepped on and missed the last 30 minutes. Lindsey was sick too.

Nice memories!

They did this for the Seton Hall v. Creighton women's game last weekend. I am pretty sure I read that it was on delay.

matchups between middle tier teams in the league like Marquette and Butler will be compelling rest of the way. NCAA bids on the line pretty much every single game.

Game will be on a five second delay to erase any curse words. Cooley can be really entertaining if you are close to him during games. I have a feeling he will be beeped out a few times.

Both teams had extremely close games against X and have beaten the two other teams that are supposedly on top of the BE. Maybe not as middling as everybody thinks. Maybe those games were flukes, just seems that with the current games played its hard to call them middling unless you’re referring to expectations from the start of season.

Huge game at Hinkle tonight. I expect the crowd to be rockin since the fanbase knows Butler really needs this one.

The Butler game was controlled by Xavier most of the way. The lowest Kenpom win probability in the last ten minutes was 95.4% when Butler went on a run too late in the game. It wasn't extremely close. That Nova win, though, was crazy.

But yeah, Marquette gave Xavier a hell of a game at their place. That win probability yo-yoed a lot and it was basically a tossup with just over two minutes to play. When Seton Hall came to town, they definitely ensured that they protected their house that time.

Because this is at Butler, I give a small edge to them, but this should be a good game.
