I kind of hate playing on CBSSN. All the Fox announcers know the Big East teams inside and out. Even Dickey Simpkins makes some salient points occasionally. The CBS guys usually have to fumble their way through the broadcast because they know almost nothing about either team.

I have a funny feeling that Ewing and Mullin have unofficially agreed to get into some type of spat for the TVs tonight. Both were great competitors, but both also saw the magnitude of having those intense rivalries on big stages to improve and increase the status of your program. I can definitely envision a lot of yelling tonight, with the end-purpose trying to not only elevate their programs but also bring added media attention to the Big East and to the conference (once again).

Both teams are garbage. I was never really sold on Mullin, and I'm not too sold on Ewing, but I'll give him a couple more years.
