Joe has St. Johns in his latest bracket as an 11th seed in the East playing our Beloved Cincinnati Bearcats (sarcasm intended). Looks to me as of now the Johnnies have laid claim to that last spot in the upper division in the Big East.

Johnnies are in, so are the bulldogs, both of them, Georgetown and Butler.... Marquette, Providence and DePaul are the only 3 that won't be dancing in March.

Care to wager a six pack of local beer on that?

Can't even begin to tell you how refreshing it is as a SJ fan to finally be living up to expectations (our expectations anyway). This is exactly where I wanted to be realistically. If we can get LoVett back and have Ponds find his 3 ball again, anything can happen.

Lol Georgetown. I'm pretty sure they would turn down a CBI bid, if they were even worthy of one.

5 vs 8/9 NCAA dreams are already over.
Maybe if we beat DePaul and G-Town maybe NIT is still alive.
Oh well, still no ncaa wins going into next year, life as a SJU fan.

Even though we got the 2nd best class in the BE coming in next year, something will happen to screw SJU, it's a yearly thing.
Not whining orr complaining, it's just the way it is at SJU.

Lol nah. It's just that a win at West Virginia would be distinctly better than a win at Providence. X will make up for it by going on to win at Villanova ;)

That was a post from December 21 and the Warriors have been stellar so you're late on your wager offer. I WILL make you a bet on tomorrow's game. As a 3rd gen Bluejay fanatic and someone who went to Creighton Prep and Creighton and knows more Marquette High and MU grads (brothers and Jebbie teachers who are my heroes) I'll bet you a 6 pack of Lake Louie (best F-ing ale on the planet) that my Jays lose at Georgetown tomorrow. Think of it as a Jesuit trinity bet. Govan will tear T-shirt Toby to bits on national tv and Mac will be too stubborn to put Manny "maddog" suarez into the game. Georgetown will pick up a priceless W and we will survive. But I'll bet you that one my Boxer bud.
