Minnesota looks very good. Coffey torched us last year. Just a real good player and he looks like he's been working on his jumper.

PC looks good too. Just have to sort out their defensive identity and also their shot selection a little bit. Just small things that Cooley will fix as the year goes on, I see them being dangerous by March.

I thought Minnesota was overrated but i was wrong. they look like a solid veteran team. just making big plays after big plays.

PC really misses Holt. Nate Watson and MAL will need BE season to get better. when they do, PC will be very good in March.

It was tough to watch this game in the 4th quarter as the Friars let their lead slip away. For the 2nd game in a row, Rodney Bullock did not show up. Not the Rodney Bullock we've come to know. That's got to change.

Tough loss.

After watching the ND game, I hope that DePaul does better at finishing at the rim and improves their perimeter defense.

Are you a glutton for punishment? I understand not wanting to be a front runner in picking a secondary team, but you've gone the complete opposite direction.

Oh well, welcome to the board! Maybe having a BYU fan's perspective during the 487th realignment thread when that inevitably pops up will breathe some fresh air into the topic.

I'm all for cheering for a shitty team and then watching them slowly turn things around.

Welcome! I see BYU as a highly unlikely candidate for our conference due to your football program among other things, but I think the Blue Demons are going places. A dominant team in Chicago would do wonders for our conference, that's for sure.

Oh I HIGHLY doubt that would happen, but if it helps the football program is independent. :D

Yeah, I looked into how DePaul did last season and so far it seems like they are heading in the right direction. Tonight's game was an easy win and now I hope they smash Illinois.

Man that would have been a nice OOC win to get things started.

At some point, Providence needs to start winning big games - which, of course, means hanging around in the Tournament more than a few hours a year too.

Good game vs Minn, fun to watch. Had lead in 2nd and were playing well, but had a bad stretch, some bad bounces, and couldn't stop the Gophers' offense. Saw a lot of good despite the final score.
