I'd still say the odds of them getting ranked are much lower than that. Teams just don't jump that much in one week without beating a very highly ranked team. They wouldn't have a ranked win, because SHU would fall out with the loss. Sure, they'd have a nice record with both losses being perfectly acceptable, but SHU, if they get it, would be their only top-50 win. It's not a bad resume by any means, but a resume with only 1 top 50 rpi/kenpom win certainly doesn't scream top 25 ranking. It would get them votes, and I could be wrong, but I highly doubt it'll get them enough. Beat Creighton and DePaul the following week also to start league play 4-0, and then I'd be on them getting in.

No. The should land in the ARV though.

Adoraz stopped predicting?

We should have 2 top 5 teams in the next poll.

I think Nova, Michigan St, Duke will be in the top 5 for sure...
I think Arizona St will be ahead of Xavier most likely still. Head to head.

The question I have is will West Virginia move ahead of Xavier? They were 16 votes behind entering this week. WVU beat Oklahoma St and has now won 13 in a row. I think it'll be really close either way... I could easily see it 1 Michigan St, 2 Duke, 3 Nova, 4 Arizona St,5 Xavier/West Virginia(coin flip there).

I think Creighton is out no matter what tomorrow's game....

Seton Hall playing tomorrow to stay ranked....

Butler will be really interesting to see.

Honestly, despite their record, X hasn't really been playing that great. They could be in the top 5/6 for a few hours Tuesday if they don't snap out of it. Bluiett's in a funk and the defense sucks. Right now the FT's are saving us. Need to get back to the UC game form. Can't keep falling back by 20 and expect more miracles.

Yeah, they've definitely played some close games at home against lesser competition like East Tennessee and Depaul but a win is a win...

Two top 5 teams. I believe that is a first since realignment.

X was #5 two years ago, and I'm pretty sure Nova was above them then.
