RPI and Winning Percentage trends:

THE SEC dethroned from the top. Now in 2nd place. I expect the SEC to fall behind the Big East/ACC soon. I expect a fierce battle between the ACC/Big East for the 2nd/3rd RPI slot. When its all said and done I expect the B12 to be #1 RPI conference.

Big 12 -- 0.5987 -- 1 -- 72 - 12 -- 0.8571
SEC -- 0.5975 -- 2 -- 86 - 27 -- 0.7611

Big East -- 0.5860 3 -- 73 - 18 -- 0.8022
ACC -- 0.5770 -- 4 -- 109 - 26 -- 0.8074

Big Ten -- 0.5568 -- 5 -- 79 - 35 -- 0.6930
Pac-12 -- 0.5488 -- 6 -- 69 - 32 -- 0.6832
MVC -- 0.5413 -- 7 -- 52 - 28 -- 0.6500
AAC -- 0.5319 -- 8 -- 73 - 31 -- 0.7019

After the 3-0 performance today, we have a week off until next Saturday when there will be a lot of F5 action. AND....wait for it.....the Hoyas join the party and play Cuse. Note we have a winning record against all F5 conferences except the Big XII which we are tied with.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16:
Syracuse vs. Georgetown
Seton Hall vs. Rutgers
Butler vs. Purdue
Northwestern vs. DePaul

ACC : 2-1
SEC : 3-2
B1G : 7-5
PAC : 5-3
B12 : 2-2

Overall 19-13

Go Big East!

Ha! I cannot believe that poor dumbass continues to spend his life defending that mess of a conference.

That's going to be a tough weekend. Seems like only Seton Hall will be favored.

Unless I am missing a game, those are the last 4 games vs F5 other than St. John's vs. Duke in February. Guaranteed an above .500 record again, well, before NCAA tournament games are counted anyway. Not too shabby.

The BE and the Big12 are the only conferences where every team has a winning record.
