Although I voted for my Musketeers, I understand that it makes sense to pick Villanova for that honor until someone else proves that their team can be the season-long champion of the Big East. Sadly, it was a blowout despite my vote.

Can I retract my vote for Xavier to win the regular season title? There is scuttlebutt that Trevon Bluiett has torn the rotator cuff in his shooting arm. If that turns out to be true, he could easily be out for the entire season. That will cause the need for the three freshmen and Kaiser Gates to be at their best from day 1. (Quite a tall order!)

Now the word is that Trevon Bluiett's injury is not as serious as originally thought and he may not miss any games at all. Therefore, get that crown ready for delivery to Victory Parkway.
