Butler is a little low. Any team with Baldwin, Martin & Wideman should compete. If everything I've heard about the Brunk kid is true, he should slide right into the frontline.

Cooley is probably the most upset from this poll- first time in years he doesn't have the hey we don't get any respect card.

One thing that stands out to me is that Seton Hall and Xavier each got a first place vote. So who besides Jay Wright didn't vote Nova #1?

Media Days are being televised over Facebook.

So far the commentators keep asking the players too many questions about their favorite rappers and NBA players for my liking.

Holding it in an empty arena just looks too cavernous.

You would think Seton Hall or Xavier. If the coach feels his team is better and I'm the coach, I would think vote accordingly.

This is the Media Day poll? Who votes...the coaches? It's okay now - I remember. (I hate being old with memory loss, of course it helps when forgetting last season and moving smartly ahead for the next.)

looking at points-
Nova 80
Seton Hall 71
Xavier 63
Providence 59
Creighton 48
St John's 36
Marquette 34
Butler 32
Georgetown 15
DePaul 12
Looks like Georgetown and DePaul got all but 1 8th/9th place votes(remember it's only 9 votes per coach since you don't vote for your team)....
Nova and Seton Hall got all but 3 points from top 2 spots.
Nova, SH, and X got all but 5 points from top 3 spots.
Nova, SH, X, and PC got all but 3 points from top 4 spots.
Nova, SH, X, PC, and C got all but 4 points from top 5 spots...

Where they really split up was with teams 6-8. A unanimous 6th place team would get 41 votes. A unanimous 8th place team would get 25 points.
