Ol' Rob is more optimistic than gitmo if he thinks SH or X has a FF shot. Both struggled all season and scraped into the dance, paint dangling from both rear fenders as the NCAA doors were closing. SH rode Delgado back above .500 and X clawed up to.500 to end the regular season.

More power to Xavier as they peaked in the Dance-all the way to the EE, SH did a 1&Out.

Both have a great cast of characters returning, but are we due for a repeat of last season? Yep. Can Bluiett and Delgado "carry" these clubs, again. Nah. X's non-con exposes all their flaws. SH still must learn to play together and develop a good team chemistry, less hero ball.

As old St'verrrr would say: "Sorry, but old Robbie D. got your hopes n hormones excited for naught." Same as last season for SH...and a bit less for the Muskies.

No offense, but Creighton fans have no experience advancing in the tournament, so you really don't know what it takes.

But I so want to find out. No offense taken. Looking forward to another great season of Big East basketball.

Duly noted. CU does have to make noise in the tournie. We need to break through and I believe we will in the next couple of years. Until then, still loving being in the Big East!!!

Honestly, I think X may have their best team EVER! Yeah, short roster but believe everyone will play a LOT and that will get us ready for the Dance again. And we have a great Coach who seems to know how to get his teams ready for March. He totally CRUSHED two higher seeds with no Ed Sumner last year and totally outcoached a Top 5 Coach. Did you guys see Goodin, Bluiett, Macura, Gates and O'Mara in the Dance? Well that's your starting 5 this year. Tryrique Jones is a total Brute now. Shot close to 80% down the stretch. Can't wait to see him against the other 5's. Bring your muscle milk. All older and better. Add rookies Paul Scruggs and Naji Hardin, both of whom are already exceeding expectations. X is 80-1 in Vegas to win it all. Get 'ya bets down :D :D :D
