Posted: Sun Jul 30, 2017 2:50 pmSo I see that 36 Cincy fans voted! I'm an XU fan, but I really don't hate Cincy. Too many good memories of the Oscar Robertson era teams from my childhood. I actually root for the Bearcats except when they play a Big East team. FWIW, Duke is waaaay ahead of anyone else on my own personal hate-o-meter.

It is well known that my beloved Bluejays are one of the cleanest, most honorable, and well loved U's in the land.

How dare the Nof Clickians vote hate for my Jays...(Corn & Wheat shuckers fans don't count),
I can't wait to be Top 5 (gotta win a lot to reach the top tier, then whine like Coach K).
ACC is well represented in the Top 10 - no surprise there.
But I am surprised that Iowa, Mich, Bama, Arizona, and Texas are so low on the list.
6 of the Top 20 are BE? The BE as the Top Hated conference? Either football backwash or the basketball version of penis envy! G'twn well deserved and historic - Nova cause they are current 4-peat Champs - X's EE NCAA run probably gave them a big boost. Amazed that CU, Marquette, and Butler got so many votes. The 3 newbies in the Top 20? Could be a "got left-behind", midmajor envy, sort of thing.
Now how can the BE marketers and branding folks take advantage of such a windfall of good fortune? What sorts of campaigns can be created to capture such attention and use it for our benefit and positive league promotions. ExP: "Luv us or Hate us...we're the Top Hoops in the Land". "Luv us or Hate us...We're Hoops 1st". "Luv us or Hate us - the Beast is Back!" or some other slogan/ad campaign.

Hahaha I'm not a fan of X or Butler our games always seem more physical.
My BE order of least liked being 1 and least least liked being #9 (SJU obviously not counting).
