Great article. As was the case with a number of NIT champs, Seton Hall had ever bit as much right to call themselves national champs that year as did the NCAA champs, Indiana. Drives me nuts when all time lists exclusively give NCAA winners as national champs as though that was the definitive championship tournament always, which it most definitely was not.
