Your Sports Channel Surfing Rotation...?

Spinning off from the 721 page thread, which touched on the impact of the Big Ten moving some games to FS1, I was wondering what our fans' typical sports channel surfing rotation is made of...? This is surfing order, not necessarily stopping and watching UFC, but checking the station at least.

For me, on say a weeknight it's:

Main:
FS1 and FS2 (Big East hoops or various soccer)
NESN (New England sports)
MLB Network
Baseball Extra Innings Package, April Thru September

then:
NBC Sports Network (soccer)
CBS Sports Network (college hoops)
Tennis Channel
BEIN Sports (soccer)

only after looking through those will i then maybe go to:
NHL Network
ESPN shit
NBA Network
YES Network

The poll allows you to vote for as many as you'd like, and you can change your vote. I put in my Top 7 choices.

What is this 'surfing time' you speak of?

I barely found time to watch Nova and a few other interesting matchups during the year; and I don't even have kids.

I pretty much stick to NESN (Red Sox & Bruins), CSN New England (Celtics), FS1 (only during college basketball season and playoff baseball), and ESPN/2 are always fallbacks. I care much more about the local sports angle than the national one. For the most part ESPN/2 are unwatchable.

Agreed. I have to schedule Butler games on my calendar to make sure I'm available.

If I have time to surf (and that's a big if), I tend to surf them all--FS1/2, CBSSN, NBCSN, the ESPNs, BTN, etc. to identify what game(s) are on that may interest me, and then I kind of flip between those one, two or a few during commercials. FS1/2 are my main stations (trying to watch other BEast schools), but one of my daughters goes to Nebraska and my other daughter will go to Iowa, and I live in NE, so I may linger on B1G games from time to time. I'm like one of the posters on another thread who said he actively avoids watching the ACC. I'm the same way, and I would add the SEC too, but I will linger if it looks like Duke, UNC or UK are going to get beat.

My go tos are TSN (Candian ESPN) and Sportsnet along with whatever is airing on the major networks (FOX, CBS, etc.) and NFL Sunday Ticket during the NFL season, and CBC for coverage of Canadian hockey teams. I sometimes have specific things I'm tuning in for, but on Saturdays during the college basketball and college football seasons and Sundays during the NFL season, I'm happy channel surfing between all of the games.

Is surfing still a thing?

There's this thing called the channel guide that tells you what's on tv?
