After digesting the news a little, I don't think it's a bad decision. It's an "okay" home and home arrangement.
A lot of our fans have suggested it's for recruiting. There is a lot of talent coming out of the area lately, but no strong programs. Mizzou and SLU are bad, Illinois is struggling and Lawrence and Louisville are both 4+ hours away. It could be a good opportunity for Butler to grab a recruit from the area.
We'll see. It is pretty dissapointing when we've recently arranged home and homes with Tennessee, Cincinnati and Utah. Definitely a step down, but I'm sure there is a reason for it.
EDIT: I'm with you though. The '12-'13 team they had was so freakin' good. They just waxed us in the three games we had against them, and we had a pretty good team that year (#6 seed - lost to Marquette
).
