Must be really sad in ACC land. They thought they had the best conference ever and look at the complete meltdown.
Should be a very interesting game on Friday. The pressure will be on North Carolina .

Carolina has the best rebound margin in the country. Butler has the 9th best turnover margin. Carolina wants the ball down low where they dominate. If Butler forces the game to be played on the perimeter, they can win.

North Carolina has no business even playing in this game. That game, Sunday, was straight up stolen from Arkansas by the worst officiating I've ever seen

Speaking of putting the nail in the coffin this tournament should put the nail in the coffin for "Old Big East/New Big East Talk."

Eh...it's still kinda hard for me to feel bad for Arkansas when it comes to officiating at the moment.

If you did not know that the conference wasn't made up with exactly the same teams, it would be impossible to figure out what is the 'old' Big East and the 'new' Big East. It is just what it is.

Bookmark this. Save it. Whatever. That is the reality, both of the 'then' and the 'now'. The Big East was ONCE the top rated conference in the entire time frame that Pomeroy has historical data.
