Early 0-1 for the Big East. Providence embarrassing. What a way to throw away a game

Horrible way to end the season.

Well that was quite the collapse by the Friars.

Horrible meltdown in the second half but good news is PC pretty much brings everyone back next year so they should be pretty good. Great season by Coach Cooley, didn't think they would make the NCAA this year.

What's our record in Dayton first four games? 0-3?

I thought Cooley stayed with the 2-3 way too long. SC had figured it out and were eating it alive. Plus the Friars shots had stopped dropping in. I would have liked to see Cooley switch to a defense that could have generated some easy shots for the offense. Maybe a 1-3-1 trap. Something that would have forced turnovers that led to easy layups.

Congratulatiins to the Driars for a great season despite the disappointing ending. Exceeded everyone's expectations. Things should be looking bright going into next year.

I think Cooley stayed in the 2-3 to try and protect Cartwright, Bullock and Holt who were in foul trouble. In the end it didnt matter anyway but man to man would have opened those up to more fouls potentially. Not saying it was the right play, just what I think his thought process was. USC going to man killed us, we just didnt have a guy who could create off the dribble and hurt them and man took Lindsey completely out of the game. That one hurts and will sting for a while but overall a great season and a lot to look forward to next year.

Ok, so that sucked. Really tough way to end the season, but the Friars had a great year. Game must have gone on 2.5 hours. Commercial breaks seemed like 5 minutes each. Nursing a 7 to 9 point lead mid-2nd, seemed like the clock was going in reverse. Still a little groggy here so i can't add any more thoughts right now.

That second half/the outcome makes me sick..a little nauseous. If I'm feeling this shitty, Friar fans.... I can only imagine. I think they would have taken SMU as well. That 16 game winning streak that SMU is on was against absolute garbage teams besides Cincy. F#ck this one hurts!!!

Condolences to Friar fans. Two weeks ago you were left for dead, and instead of just playing out the season, you went on the most unlikely of runs (dismantling my Muskies at your place).

On the positive side, it looks like you are going to keep Cooley. It's imperative we keep certain coaches in this league, and he is one of them. As a xavier fan we may not be so lucky with Mack (Indiana).

Again, a phenomenal accomplishment to just claw your way to a bid
