Butler 38

Pretty significant Big East tournament seeding implications in this one, particularly for XU.

Opposite of our last game at Hinkle, the refs are letting them play... 1st half took about 45 mins instead of 1hour 15mins... No ACC refs today, that's for sure!

Great back and forth action.

Turnovers buried Xavier late in the game... what a shame

Welp, lol.

Butler should be looking at a 2-3 seed for NCAA at this pace.

Butler really upped the pressure on the guards. Haven't seen a stretch like that in a long time.

Xavier loses 5th in a row and now a 4-way tie for 4th place....

Score doesn't do justice. Should've been a one-point win. That was a great game.

That is a really bad 4-way tie for Xavier. Their Big East tournament seed could be really low If they lose to Marquette. If that happens, they lose the two-way tiebreaker with Providence, Seton Hall, and Marquette. In a tie with three or more, the tie-breakers aren't much more favorable to the boys in Cincinnati.

Unless everyone goes 1-1 this week, it won't be a 4-way tie.
