I know they've won more league games than anyone expected, but until somebody, anybody, starts showing they care even a little bit about playing defense, I just don't see this team getting where we want them to be anytime soon.

Their backcourt is undersized, so it's tough for them to defend against bigger guards. When Mussini is on the floor, it gets worse because he is small AND slow. Mullin has been trying to compensate by playing pressure defense to take advantage of their speed in the backcourt with LoVett and Ponds. But by it's nature, that leaves them to getting burned for easy fast breaks at times.

Wait until next year! Famous last words, but I truly believe that when Clark and Simon join the team, you will see a noticeable uptick in the defense. Good D requires the right personnel as much as good offense does.
