Kinda. I'd be torn trying to pick between the 2. Watson was voted Big East preseason 1st team, and I didn't have a problem with that, but Brunson didn't even make the 2nd team. Carrington and Sumner were never ever in their lives better than Brunson as a PG.

Your right when the best 2 point guards went out with season ending injurys he became the best.

If Brunson went to Xavier, Sumner would've been pushed out of the PG spot, probaby last season.

Brunson is a great player but my God I'd take Watson and Sumner over him any day. He's a good #3 in the conference at the point guard spot.

Nobody plays with the smarts and talent Brunson has. Guy is unbelievably good!!! Never impressed with sumner at all.

I think alot of people will disagree with u on that. Watson might not have shown what a good defender he is but part of that was avoiding foul trouble as well.

All due respect to Watson and Sumner, but no way I trade Brunson for either(yes healthy). Jalen is just such a perfect fit for what Jay and Nova do.

Jalen is a Naismith finalist and a Bob Cousy award finalist. IMO best point guard in country. Certainly not the best NBA potential, however best college point guard. And only a sophmore.

Watson would have been on that list as well, he was leading the nation in assists!
