Another big game for the Pirates (they pretty much all are at this point). They still have a game remaining against each of the top 4, so they really can't afford to blow any more of these games that they should win. The Hall needs to show up though, as Providence is plenty capable and will take advantage if the Pirates don't come ready to play.

Seton Hall's backup point guard, Jevon Thomas, just quit the team. He's the 3rd player to leave the program this year (Veer Singh & Myles Carter). Combined with Ish Sanogo's injury, that leaves the Pirates with 9 scholarship players available for tonight's game - 6 of whom get regular minutes.

The loss of Sanogo with the ankle creates a real opportunity for Providence tonight.

It'll be interesting to see how the Hall plays tonight without Ish. Depth is obviously the biggest issue and they'll take a hit on the defensive end, but it also gives Willard an excuse to shake things up in search of more offense. I imagine they'll have to go small at times tonight, with Jones, Carrington, and Powell all on the floor together. In addition, Mike Nzei should pick up plenty of extra minutes tonight and Eron Gordon should be added to the rotation. It should be a good game.

Hall was awful and PC was rocking them early. Pirates now ahead and need this one badly.

Seton Hall has to stop giving it to Carrington in the clutch moments.

Wow. What a game and what a stressful game. The Pirates' inability to put teams away can't be good for my blood pressure. That's 3 overtime Big East games so far and 3 that came down to pretty much the final possession. Pirates are 3-3 in those games.

Hard fought game by the Hall. Took em to OT and won by 2 to stay in the right side of the bubble. It was a battle the entire game
