Here's a teaser to get everyone's hopes up. Some fast facts about the tournament in recent years.

1. Every year since 2010, a team seeded 4 or lower has made it to the Final Four - usually lower.
2. Only once has more than 1 #1 seed made it to the Final Four. Being a 1-seed has not been a big advantage.
3. In 2011, not a single #1 seed made it to the Final Four.
4. In 2014, UConn won it all as a #7 seed.

Here's the list of lower seeds who made it to the Final Four since 2010:

2016 - Syracuse (10)
2015 - Michigan State (7)
2014 - Kentucky (8), UConn (7)
2013 - Wichita State (9), Michigan (4), Syracuse (4)
2012 - Louisville (4)
2011 - VCU (11), Butler (8), Kentucky (4)
2010 - Butler (5), Michigan State (5)

Here are the Last 5 power ratings for Big East teams, updated with the weekend results. The goal is to peak in March. We're getting close.

4. Villanova (4-1, 23.2)
9. Butler (4-1, 20.6)
20. Providence (4-1, 17.0)
25. Creighton (2-3, 16.2)
37. Marquette (2-3, 13.7)
77. Georgetown (1-4, 8.0)
90. Seton Hall (3-2, 7.2)
149. Xavier (0-5, 1.4)
159. DePaul (1-4, 0.8)

Yeah, PC has been awesome.

This was just a gut reaction I had to our week.
