tough loss but wouldn't have felt right stealing that one after Sumner went down.

Nice to see us rally back, but we just don't have the size to finish that out. Really hope Sumner is ok but that did not look good at all. His knee totally buckled and his leg went in the wrong direction. Would be terrible luck with Foster and now possibly Sumner out for extended time.

Unsurprising. Per Kenpom, Nova's defense is #1 in FTA/FGA, and Virginia's offense is #349. FT point distribution % tells a similar story.

Exactly. UVA is a team that doesn't get to the line much.

It's also worth noting that UVA was called for 18 fouls, not much more than their normal 15 fouls per game average. Apparently they made the mistake of committing a high percent of their fouls at times that would put Nova on the line. Nova normally shoots 18-19 FT per game. 24 is not much more than that.
