A lot came at the end when Georgetown was trying to stop the clock. They started fouling with just under 4 left in the game.

Worst officiated game i've ever seen. @UCLA with Pac-12 refs who had no interest in physical BE play. They beat us by 6 points. We were the better team though.

Thanks.

The differential was 14-4 in the last 4 minutes, making it 35-10 in the previous 36, which is still a big disparity. BTW, Georgetown didn't even foul in the last 30 seconds, which is strange in itself.

That was some crazy scheduling, booking a West Coast team home-and-home in February both years. Was that Lavin's connections at work?

Was actually put in place before he was hired. Tht was his first season as head coach. We used to have a H&H series with Duke for like 16 years that was played in the middle of the conference schedule. Actually that year where we lost to UCLA on the road we blew out Duke in the Garden 93-78 where we led by 20 most of the game.

I vividly remember the Duke loss in OT in 1999. What a great game! What a disappointing finish. Until that game, I had never thought of Artest as a 3-point shooter. But he sure made a big one that day. That was a great team with Bootsy Thornton, Lavor Postell, and Erick Barkley. Funny thing is that my 2 clearest memories of that St John's season were both losses - that game and the Ohio State game. That St John's team should have gone to the Final 4.

I'm surprised it hasn't gotten a mention on here yet (that I've seen at least), but Angel Delgado had a monster game last night. He became the first player to record 20 and 20 in a Big East game since 2010 and was the first Seton Hall player to do it since Eddie Griffin in 2000. He also became the first Pirate ever to get 20 and 20 in a Big East game.

For some reason I thought Ochefu did it against the Hall last year, but it turns out he fell just short at 20 points and 18 rebounds.

Delgado is a beast in the BEast. You have to combine several Jays to get to 20 rebounds   :?
