Just what we need, more bad St. John's news. 4 star recruit Zack Brown was arrested for robbing a Walgreens on Sunday night. It was questionable whether he'd ever make it to campus or not, but this will probably end that possibility. The need for big men just became even more urgent for the Johnnies.

Reminds me of the time back in the 70's when Marvin Barnes tried to hold up a bus driver, using a tire iron as a weapon. One difference though...Marvin was wearing his PC jacket when he attempted the heist.

He's done. Mullin and Matt A will move on. We have two scholarships for next year.

This is what the Johnnies signed up for with him. Don't feel sorry for SJU at all. There were plenty of red flags.

His was a high risk, high reward situation. Sometimes you get lucky and a kid will embrace a second chance, and make the most of the opportunity. In this case, it just didn't pan out The good news is, it's better to find out now than later. I agree with Redman, best to just cut bait with him and move on. Hopefully Matt A will find a good big man or two in the tranfer market. Playing with three guards like Ponds, Lovett and Simon, should have some appeal.

Well, atleast he did this before he got on campus, SJU dodged a bullet....
