Btw here's a great feature on Angel Delgado that was published today if anyone's interested:

http://www.app.com/story/sports/college/2017/01/10/pivotal-pirate-seton-halls-angel-delgado-doing-all/96372878/

It talks about his attitude/leadership and how far he's come since his freshman year.

In the AP Poll, SHU is ranked 27th in the nation. Win their games this week and maybe there will be a number next to their name

I think they lack a true "system." It strikes me that Seton Hall would be a lot more consistent if they had a reliable, regular system like so many of the other top teams in conference. I'm also not a big believer in Willard.

Yes, they have talent in the starting lineup, but not a deep bench by Big East standards.

I don't know how Seton Hall pissed off whoever's in charge of making the schedule, but the Pirates start a brutal stretch today of 3 road games in 6 days.

@Marquette
2 days off
@Providence
1 day off
@Villanova

Ouch.

Marquette has the 3 games in 6 days this week too, but at least their first 2 are at home.

Creighton has 3 games in 6 days as well, with Butler and Xavier as the bread, and Truman State as the bologna.

Well that's Creighton's own fault lol. Seriously, why on earth would you schedule a DII team in the middle of conference play? Especially 2 days before playing @ Xavier. I expect the Blue Jays won't waste a second of practice time prepping for the Bulldogs but why bother at all? I don't even see the argument of they needed an extra game and this is the only day they could play it because the game won't even count towards their NCAA resume. Did the league instruct them to schedule an OOC game this weekend? I see it's a fairly tight week for everyone because of Monday's marathon and the 2 teams that got out of it with a bye both scheduled OOC games (Gtown plays UConn).

Someone on our board mentioned that Coach Mac just said that the league required them to have a Saturday game...

The league dictated that we play Sat so that we didn't have an unfair advantage of extra time off. We couldn't find a decent D1 game as everyone is in conference play and we didn't want an RPI killer, so we scheduled Truman (won't count against RPI). Oh well! Won't be 18000 at that game!!

That doesn't make any sense. Creighton should tell "the league" to go pound sand.
