Hes definitely up there. My big problem is his teams play with absolutely no passion. Combine that with the level of talent available to him and he honestly has an argument for worst coach in America.

Nah, JTII was all good. His kid though...

Sorry, couldn't resist.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

The Hoya fanbase is starting to get very tired of JT3.

Losing every game can have that effect

Although I think JTIII has a notable ability to do less with more, the start of their conference schedule doesn't exactly help out Georgetown. Coming into the conference schedule, they were underdogs in their first four games. Tonight's game against Providence had the best odds per Kenpom at 42%, because even when you have pretty good metrics like Georgetown, it's still tough to win on the road. All the same, using Kenpom odds, this 0-3 start was only about a 1 in 4 shot and they managed to do just that.

I would love for G'Town to return to being a constant Top 25 team, the Big East needs it, I just don't think JTIII is the answer. I think G'Town is better served parting ways with him sooner rather than later.

It does? Georgetown has been mostly irrelevant since the conference was formed, yet the conference will finish in the Top 3 for the third year in a row this year.

From a pure basketball RPI standpoint it doesn't. From a eyeball on TV screen standpoint it does. Georgetown and Villanova are the Big East's most marketable brands when their winning.

No disrespect of other teams, but from a national standpoint. Nothing like leading into the Big East Tournament involving strong top 25 teams of Villanova, Georgetown, St. John's. The buzz is always electric.

Considering the Hoyas are the Big East program shown one of the most on network TV, yeah, I would say the league needs Georgetown to recover. Leagues are at their best when the traditional powers are strong.
