Great job to Villanova for coming into Omaha and winning today... The Wildcats continue to prove time and time again that they are the class of the Big East.

The Jays had their chances, however the more veteran, championship team prevailed by hitting contested jumpers and hitting big three pointers when they were needed the most. This was one fun game to watch, sad that the Jays couldn't find a way to win this one, however no reason for the Jays to hang their heads. On to the next game...

Hopefully there will be a minimum of two more games between CU and Nova this season.

Jays had opportunities but Nova was so damn solid. Great game.

And Seton Hall will keep getting free positive press for being the last team to beat NOVA in the BET finals.

Nova scored right on their season average, while Creighton scored 20 below theirs. Better luck next time Jays!

It was a fun couple of games today, that's for sure. Conference play is absolutely brutal but so much fun.

Nova made the key shots down the stretch, Creighton just didn't! Hopefully we can learn from the game, but right now Nova is really tough!

Kudos to Creighton, that place was rocking, a BIG TIME college basketball atmosphere for sure. Hart and Brunson needed to play out of their minds today for us to have a shot. Very tough game and arena to play in. Creighton is the real deal and although we are a few years in now, OBVIOUSLY a VERY welcomed addition to the Big East. Gotta make it out to Omaha one of these days. Even the handshake between McDermott and Jay at the end of the game was very cordial. Nothing but class from Creighton. Great game and thanks for representing the Big East so well. Going to be a great season for Creighton and I already look forward to our next match up. Actually, no I don't. Ha!

What a game! As good as advertised. Back and forth affair to the end. I think this is the year Creighton can break through. Both teams looked like they are ready for March and it's only December. #BIGEAST
