I think it was appropriate that Xavier/Butler for the most part avoided playing the A-10 for the initial years. You don't wanna have comparisons between the level of play of the members that left and those that stayed. If they were to lose to an A-10 opponent it would look terrible. Now that the separation between the A-10 and Big East is clear they can schedule freely whoever they want.

Cincinnati is now 0-5 vs the Big East.

The separation was pretty clear after Xavier crushed Dayton in Orlando, but you make a good point.

We can add two more wins for the BE against the A-10 with the Friars win over UMass and the Hoyas win over La Salle.

Creighton also beat Cinn in the tournie a couple of years ago w D Mac. Not sure if that has been included.

I think Cincy was in the Big East at that time.
