Another prediction: This board in their preseason predictions will overrate Xavier and Creighton and underrate Providence.

Top five:

1. Georgetown
2. Xavier
3. Seton Hall
4. Villanova
5. Marquette

Five Big East teams will make the tournament.

Butler will win the NIT.

Providence will finish last.

How can you see anybody finishing above Villanova?

I agree with you that Xavier is getting overrated but I really really really hope I'm wrong.

I hope the BE coaches sleep on the Friars like many on here are doing. PC will not finish last. I think no worse than 8th more likely 6th

Bold predictions: (1) Providence finishes 6th. (2) GT will replace either X or Creighton in the top 3 (3) Butler finishes 7th and Marquette 8th. (4) Stever says BE recruiting for 2017 looks pretty good.

That's because you're a PC fan, no offense, but someone has to finish 8th or 9th. PC lost lottery pick(5th overall) Kris Dunn and 1st team all-BE Bentil from a team that finished 1 game over .500 in BE play and only 2 games above 7th place. That's WITH Dunn and Bentil, I get where your coming from, playing the no respect card. You're ready to take that leap of faith in Cooley and the program, figuring that someone or multiple someone's will step up. It's not a lack of respect or sleeping on PC, to most unbiased observers every team except DePaul and St. John's returns more (and St. John's returns a bunch more it's just young and inexperienced with an unproven coach) so realistically you can't place them any higher than 8th.

I don't expect them to finish in top half but they wont be last. It seems to me that PC always finishes higher than pre season predictions. Last year PC had a couple of bad breaks, even with Dunn and Bentil, between injuries and illness. They should have finished higher

anyway it would be bold to predict PC to finish 5th or higher not 10th

Nova will not win the BE regular season. Nor will they win the BE tourney. One of the other 9 will win them.

Dear God, man. He said bold not outrageous.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Bold prediction. Georgetown goes undefeated through their OOC schedule and enters Big East play a top 5 team.

My bold prediction was 7 teams making the tourney, not where I predicted PC to finish(not 10th).

I guess my bold prediction is Marquette goes first four to sweet 16. I'll throw in a repeat appearance in the title game for Nova.
