Just saw that Creighton is playing in the CBE Classic in Kansas City next year... other teams there are UCLA, Wisconsin, and Baylor.

Nova in Battle 4 Atlantis with Arizona, Purdue, NC State, Tennessee, SMU, W Kentucky, and N Iowa.
Marquette in Maui with Cal, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, VCU, Wichita, and of course Chaminade
Georgetown and Butler in Nike tournament with Duke, UNC, UConn, UT, OU, MSU, OSU, UK, FL, Stan, Ore, Gonzaga, Portland, Portland St(2 separate 8 team tournaments)

anything from Seton Hall, St John's, Providence, Xavier, or DePaul?

This is huge for Creighton. A tournament with top tier power teams in it and only 3 hours away from Omaha. The Sprint Center will be mostly blue...

First game is vs Memphis, then either Virginia or Iowa in the second.

Isn't that this season? This thread was for the 2017-18 exempt tournaments which are getting announced now in some cases....

Good news irt Jays & the 2017 CBE tourney. The organizers had turned cold shoulders to Creighton since 2004. It's a good little Thankgiving tourney. Should get approx 6-8K (or more?) of the faithful trekking to KCMO. Jays generally play well in Kansas City-won the Guardians/CBE both previous times they were in it, one of the few undefeated CBE overall winners. A good showing will boost 2018 recruiting.

All-Time Series - Creighton Media Guide.
Creighton 3-1 vs Baylor
Creighton 2-1 vs UCLA
Creighton 1-1* vs Wisconsin

*Not incl the upcoming 2016 season game.

PS: This is an early season tourney - generally not very important in the overall scheme of things. Perhaps Mac will use this KCMO outing as a "coming out party" / homecoming party for 2017 Frosh SG Mitch Ballock? Jays eyeing a few more in the region. ( I can only hope so. )

Our schedule tracker has a lot of this information.

For Providence, I have them in the 2K classic.

Seton Hall, St. John's, and Depaul we don't know yet. Xavier is in one of the Vegas tournaments, but not sure which one yet. Probably one of them that plays over Thanksgiving because they are scheduled to play Northern Iowa around the Christmas one.
