General BE news thread

Thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where posters could supply links to general news coverage or articles regarding BE schools, basketball or otherwise. I know many SB nation, BR team sites, and school message boards do this for their individual schools. Having a centralized place for all BE school news might make it easier for fans of other schools to catch up on information on other teams in the conference. Here is some Nova news from day(or yesterday). Feel free to add any links about your school here.

Great idea Westbrook#36.

However, would you be kind enough to put the links to the disciplinary problems, injury reports, and other internal squabbles 'Nova is having...and the other teams as well. Those are the only links I would be interested in. Thanks.

Yo Gumby, 'Ball,

What's this Spellman HS deal about?
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketb ... um=twitter

Allowed to practice - no play.

Should I be expecting "good news"? Rat in a cheese factory... Wimpy eating hamburgers... Big bad Wolf at lil Red's door?

What's the prognosis, i.e., the current spin by Jay? Do they expect him to get cleared? If not, how long would he have to sit out...1 semester, 6 mo, 1 season?

Inquiring "fans" want to know.

I'm certainly no insider but the chatter seems to be that it will be cleared up soon and Omari will be cleared to play. Apparently H. Cheatham from Marq had a similar situation last year. Don't recall it but maybe the MU fans can shed some light. Would hurt definitely if he had to sit a year.

This has been big news at Providence. Obviously Shammgod is a legendary ball handler and had done wonders for Cotton, Dunn, Cartwright, among others. Here is a Providence Journal article with some quotes from Shammgod:
