5 star SF Brian Bowen was at Creighton game today. His 4th Creighton game I believe. Supposedly will decide sometime this month.

Tack on 4* C Jacob Epperson under CU's haul. Committed tonight, #56 on Scout.

Now if we can land his 5* LaLumiere teammate Tugs Bowen, it'd be the greatest recruiting haul in team history, if it wasn't already!

Off topic but Xavier and mainly Villanova was top 4 for a 4 star Justin Smith who committed to IU. With Crean getting fired you never know.

Top 50ish ranked 6'-7"Jordan Tucker is supposedly down to IU and Nova and tweeted several hours ago, "Do you understand why I stayed patient and waited? Hopefully very good news for Nova, but then again I was sure we were going to get Lonnie Walker. So who the f knows?

He's visiting other schools, I think Oregon being one of them. We have to wait and see how everything plays out, but if everyone comes back next season, Tucker won't get enough playing time, anyway. We don't really need him. I think 2018 class is potentially a big haul for us.

so looking now....

Xavier 9
PC 14
Butler 21
Creighton 23
Nova 26
Marquette 47

12 4 star guys right now...

doesn't look like will beat the 2014 class- with it's 17 4/5 star guys and 4 top 20 classes. It'll be close- but no cigar.

Thanks for keeping our expectations in check. Where would we all be without the constant reminders that we shouldn't get too excited about anything positive for the conference?

um, where did I say it wasn't positive? Is it a good class this year? Yes. Is it as good as 2014 was? Nope.

All we need now is Georgetown to get to work.
