#21 - Creighton

Fairly consistent with most projections for the Jays this year.

#20 - UCLA
#19 - Miami
#18 - UConn

#17 - Seton Hall

One of the most optimistic pre-season projections I've seen for Seton Hall. As the write-up says, the big question is how they're going to fill the void left by Isaiah Whitehead at point guard. Willard brought in a lot of options and if one of them pans out, the Pirates are going to be really good. With this ranking, the author is clearly betting on that to happen. Considering that "panning out" doesn't require completely replacing Whitehead- rather just effectively manning the position and distributing the ball, I don't think this seems unlikely.

If you look at their bracketology, they are even more optimistic about the Hall. Rather than a 5-seed as a #17 ranking would suggest, the Pirates get a 3-seed on their projected bracket. love it!
Xavier will surprise. Never count them out of the Dance.

With Purdue checking in at #14, here is how things stand: ACC (4 teams left), BE/Big10/PAC12 (2 teams each), Big12/SEC/WCC (1 team each).

lol, so you're joking and he won't lead the league? Because he won't.

Arizona State comes in at 60, 7th in the Pac-12.

Hey, I'm just thrilled that the Friars are getting their 4th consecutive bid. Today I'm all about peace, love and brotherhood with our Big East compadres.

So I definitely have no interest in rehashing predictions from last October, especially when at 4-8 three weeks ago, 9th place seemed accurate. Also, half the Scoutfriars board was hammering Cartwright in preseason and up thru the losses at DePaul and Seton Hall.
