I'm watching the Wisconsin vs. Purdue game on the BTN network and they ran an ad for the fact that they're having a 5 game marathon also on January 2nd.

Hey Fox knows a good idea when they have one. We get FS1 they get BTN marathon. I think we get the better deal. haha

Sure but if fox is behind it seems dumb to have them on the same day.

no real other choice though. NYE is DOA and can't do it on Sunday vs the NFL.

Fox owns 51% of the BTN. Im sure they are behind it at some level.

Not to many timeslots to go around for a 14 member league. One game in on ESPN2 in Michigan State at Minnesota and a high school all-american game also on espn2 and ESPN is booked with 4 bowl games on Saturday. This would result in 5 games in BTN.

Good. Just shines a brighter spot light on the sport in general, and the good games will be watched. Hopefully year after year we can have a decent number of the good games on our slate.

Of course stever will chime in about how this means we have to cancel those games and shorten the season to 12 games and run white noise/static on FS1 so that we don't lose out on viewers to some competition. Because stever is foolish.
