A big game with March implications right out of the gate. It's not crazy to say the Big East will end up with 5-6 NCAA bids. Four of those bids are probably going to Providence, Xavier, Butler, and Villanova. St. John's, DePaul, and Creighton are likely NOT going to the NCAA Tournament.
That leaves 1-2 NCAA spots for Georgetown, Seton Hall, and Marquette to fight over.
Marquette leads the all time series with Seton Hall 15-3. The teams split their regular season meetings last year, with each winning on the road (including Seton Hall's first-ever win over MU in Milwaukee). MU pasted Hall 78-56 in the Big East Tournament.

Another big opening night match-up. Two possible tourney teams, a little unfair this game doesn't get the attention it deserves.

Notkirk...
If it is still possible add a poll to this. Good to see what the posters think irt who wins/loses.
Oh, nice "predictions" on the potential 5-6 BE NCAA bids!

I'm glad notkirk has everything figured out. Might as well not play the games since we now all know who will be in contention for bids and who won't be.
