3 games that should be streamed on ESPN3 will be in crystal clear HD on national TV. Love it.

Bad Big East basketball games are better than no Big East basketball games.

Can't bet on Creighton at -29.5 McD will play with lineups and sets to keep it from getting there.

Bigger bet: How many fans will Creighton have tonight, in a blizzard, against a clearly overmatched opponent, with the game on national TV. I say 16,200 paid, 10,000 in seats. Think about that. !0,000 people venture out in a blizzard to see Coppin St.

a shame seriously that Creighton couldn't cancel the game. Coppin projected to finish 5-24 vs D1 teams. Creighton hurt more by playing tonight than if it was cancelled....

Most of the time you're discussing teams needing to reach a magical win total that you made up in your head.
Paraphrasing: "I'm sorry, but teams just don't get bids with only 17 wins, etc..."
Except now. Can't have it both ways.

They'd be better off with 17 wins w/o this game than with 18 wins w this game. Either way, they would need at least 10 wins in conference play if not 11 to make the tourney.

Also when I look at win total, I'm looking at the projected RPI's.

I don't bash on you like others...but I just might start after that comment. Really? The sport of College Basketball is reduced to RPI numbers 3 months from now? It's not about the enjoyment the players get playing, or the fans get watching? It's not about the feeling of belonging to a fan base, the singing along with the crowd, the dancing on the jumbotron, or the beers with friends and alumni? Its only about the RPI?

Say it wasn't about any of that and was only about the money. Any idea how much money comes from 10,000 people going to an event? The parking, concessions, and souvenirs? What about the restaurants near the stadium with the college kids waiting for tips? None of that matters because or RPI, huh?

Either recognize the ridiculousness of your comments, or hide in a hole until this thread gets buried because that comment was not the crispiest fry in the happy meal.
