Dear Butler and Xavier fans...

I know everyone has nova as the clear favorite in the Big East, but I'm not buying it. This is a three horse race with all three teams being capable of top ten rankings and winning tournament games. May the best team come out on top.
Also. Please remember, as a fan the team's performance reflects on you as a person. Since the teams we root for are better than the rest, that makes us better people, and we should act accordingly. No need for humility or to be humble, we are better than everyone else and we should remind the other fans of this reality whenever we feel like it.
Sincerely,
The ball

Don't write off Georgetown just yet.

Way too early. I would like to see what Butler does against a few decent teams and what Xavier does in the AdvoCare Invitational. Also don't write off Georgetown.

It's amazing to me how overlooked my Friars are every year lol. I know Cooley and co. love being looked over and use it as motivation, but from a fan's perspective, it's just kind of odd to me. I understand the thought on Providence this year is "show me first" with all of the new faces, but has anyone watched the games? If you had I don't know how you don't include PC in at least the "don't write them off" tier with GTown. Honestly, even if you hadn't watched the games and just see that they are 3-0 how can you not put them in the "don't write them off" tier based solely on how talented Dunn is? I mean, Jesus, Creighton seemed to be fine with 8 guys who will never play again and Doug McDermott a couple years ago. I don't wanna hear that they were upperclassmen or any of that Bologna either. They had McDermott and a bunch of mid major carry-over players from their transition to the Big East. I think Providence deserves a little more respect.
Ok rant over

Dear Hoyas and Friars fans,
Do you see your name in the title of this thread? No. So why are you posting here. (Kidding of course)
Georgetown wins today and you may be invited to this thread.
Friars fans, you are our other tourney hopeful, and you have the league's marquee player. But your lack of size and depth will have you closer to the bubble than a protected seed.
And I have watched all of your games so far. Looked good against Harvard and brown, looked not so good in a gift home win against Illinois. And this would be a good time to once again thank fox sports for bringing me all of your games.

For the sake of this conference, I hope the Hoyas and Friars get invited to this thread.
I watched Georgetown against Whisky. They looked like they belonged in this thread from that game in particular, and also for how they played most of the night against Maryland.

Love this post. The Friars are legit, don't sleep on them.
It is 4 team race with Georgetown on the outside looking in until they knock off Cuse or feast during BEast play, which they will. I've been spoiled and just don't want to sweat it out during conference play.

Basically agree. Friars have definitely earned their spot in the discussion. Butler with a huge statement win last night. Georgetown has played great in every game except Radford. The results could have swung the other way easily. Good luck with 'Cuse. I'll be rooting for you.
