Post your rankings, let your voice be heard! (And of course the bitter people who will claim this is stupid)
The contenders:
1a. Nova. Businesslike
1b. Butler. Jones, Dunham et al look real tough
3. Xavier. Reynolds is a beast, blueitt's time to bust out
The tourney hopefuls:
4. Seton Hall. Time for the sophomores to grow up
5. Providence. Dunn looks awesome, bullock and bentil look decent enough
Keep the faith
6. DePaul. Have some Talent on the roster, and played with some focus and determination in their comeback Saturday
7. Creighton. Staying optimistic until proven otherwise. Khyri Thomas joining Brunson, ellenson and bridges as frosh to watch
Rebuilding
8. Johnnies
9. Marquette
You are what your record says you are
10. Hoyas. Someone wake me up when they pull their record above .500

Pretty tough to get a good idea of the teams, but I'd go like this:
1. Nova
2. Butler
3. Xavier
4. Providence
5. Creighton
6. Seton Hall
7. DePaul
8. St. John's
---
9, 10. The bozos that aren't undefeated right now.

Georgetown and St Johns at the bottom. Sad to say but true.

1. Nova
2. Butler
3. Xavier
4. Hoyas (Bullish on this team unless they wet the bed this week)
5. Providence
6. Creighton
7. Marquette (loads of talent, needs to settle on lead guard)
8. Seton Hall (Seems like everyone knows their role)
9. DePaul (Looks tougher this year)
10. St Johns
6-9 were very tough picks. Unlike last year, I believe all 4 teams in this years slots are greatly improved and have the potential to move up the ranking whereas last year that was not a possibility.

I think people are overreacting to the Georgetown loss this weekend... beginning of the season is always fluky as teams are testing new lineups and building chemistry. This team lost some key contributors and essentially their entire front line.

regarding Georgetown:
I'm not overreacting. I just want someone to wake me up when they go above .500.
I have them pegged for cracking .500 on December 19 as they beat UNC Ashville to get to 6-5.

I don't think it is overreacting at all. It was Radford at home and Georgetown was predicted by most pundits to finish among the top of the Big East. Our top teams should be capable of winning home games against the Radfords of the world whenever those games are scheduled
