Which Arena are we voting for St. John's? MSG or Carnesecca?

Since most of the Big East teams get to experience the Garden, I would suggest MSG. Carnesecca is a rat hole. I would have voted it #10, below DePaul.

I voted Georgetown #8. Verizon is a generic NBA arena with a rather tepid atmosphere---at least during St. John's game. I've been there three times and came away unimpressed each time.

Full disclosure I would put G'town #8 also. The sole reason St. John's is ahead of them is solely because of MSG.

Not fair to base your opinion G'town vs St. John's. Your team hasn't exactly been a draw lately and doesn't have the same cache as playing Cuse, UConn & Duke. You also have to hold up your end of the deal.

That was my caveat, BigmanU. We brought nothing to the table. The most exciting parts of a SJU- G'town experience was when the Bulldog attacks the SJU adorned shoebox and, on one occasion, they were shooting burritos into the stands from an air cannon.

Been to a Georgetown game, nice arena but not when it's half full. Not very loud.

Chinatown sucks. Way overrated place to go out for drinks.

Georgetown is 8??? It's not Georgetown's fault that outside of Nova we couldn't care less about the other teams in the conference. Attendance will be up dramatically this year because of the OOC schedule.

That actually is your fault. Good fanbases don't care who they are playing. And its not like GTown has dominated the NBE, so I wouldn't get too high & mighty.
