BE vs. the P5

Postby GumbyDamnit! » Wed Nov 04, 2015 5:03 pm

I'm psyched that in less than 2 weeks we'll start seeing some pretty good games (G'twn vs. MD, DePaul v. PSU, Nova vs. Neb., X vs Mizzou). Just wanted to lay out the current schedule of the BE vs. the P5 conference teams. I understand that there will be others as preseason tournaments shake out. I'm confident that we'll be over .500 vs this schedule, but there are some tough ones out there (@ MD, @ OU, @ UVA, @ Wisc, @ Mich, @ Indiana). If we can get wins out of any of those, that would do wonders to the RPIs.

Butler - Tenn, Purdue (n)
Creighton - @ Indiana, Rutg.(n), Az St., Neb, @ OU,
DePaul - @ PSU, So. Car., @ Stan., NWestern
G'town - @ MD, Wisc (n), Syr.
Marq. - Iowa, LSU (n), @ Wisc,
Prov. - Ill., BC
SHU - UGa., @ Rutg.
SJU - Rutg., Vandy (n), Syr., So. Car (n)
Villanova - Neb., Stan.(n), OU (n), @ UVA
Xavier - Mizzou, @ Mich, Bama (n), Aub, @ Wake F,

B1G = 15
ACC = 5
SEC = 9
B12 = 2
P12 = 3

34 games total.
15 home games.
10 road games.
9 neutral games.

Prediction: 19-15 BE.

Butler, will play one more in the third game of the Puerto Rico Tipoff regardless of outcome (Miss St, Texas Tech, Utah or Miami). They could play Minnesota in the second round. They play the winner/loser of Temple/Minnesota (let's hope it's winner. Otherwise, that means Butler loses to Missouri St in the first round).

There are probably plenty of situations like this for everyone else, but I thought it was good to bring up.

EDIT: I see your disclaimer now, but at least everyone knows.

Might need to re-evaluate this thread. You guys are better off tracking the BE vs. DII. That will likely be more competitive...

Dude just stop. Was last night bad for St John's? Sure. But then again, so was Temple a few years ago. It happens some times.

Didn't know where to post this...
Boston College is actually giving out free tickets to their home game vs St Francis (NY) next week.
They've been having attendance problems.
