Posted: Thu Oct 15, 2015 11:49 amI think if we had a teams ranked 9 / 15/ 22 and then 3 teams receiving votes, I would consider that solid. One team at 9, another at 22, and 4 teams on the outside looking in doesn't scream solid to me. It screams glorified A-10.

Just for context the A-10 had two teams receiving votes and it was Dayton with 1 vote and Davidson with 5 that's nowhere close to the big east. I thought the big east would have 3 rank teams but a couple wins by G-town, Xavier, Providence, and Marquette and they will be there

I think they mean more than you think. For one, if you are ranked- it helps TV ratings. I mean if casual fan has option to watch say game with #10 vs #19 or a game with 2 unranked teams- which game do you think they're going to watch?

He's out buying tooth whitener for the Yellow Toothed Gnome. Little Mickey is trying to look more human the closer we get to Halloween. He won't accomplish that, but he's trying.

Posted: Thu Oct 15, 2015 2:59 pmGeorgetown should be ranked. Luckily, most of our potential tourney teams have solid non-conferences so we can move into the top 25 pretty easily.
